Overview

AlGusto Tenerife is a Venezuelan restaurant located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, specializing in arepas with various traditional fillings and tequeños. Recognizing the need for an online presence to cater to their delivery customers, they sought professional assistance to design and develop their Shopify store.

Challenge

The restaurant aimed to enhance its accessibility for customers wanting to order online. They needed a modern, user-friendly website that reflected their brand and showcased their menu effectively.

Solution

To address these needs, I was contracted to design and develop their Shopify store. The following steps were taken:

1. Platform Selection: Shopify was chosen for its ease of use and robust e-commerce capabilities.

2. Theme Customization: The Dawn theme was utilized as the foundation for the website. Dawn v6 was selected as it was the latest version available, offering modern features and flexibility.

3. Design Process: The design was created using Figma, ensuring a visually appealing and intuitive layout.

4. Development: The site was customized using vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to enhance functionality and align with the restaurant’s branding.

Results

The newly developed Shopify store provided AlGusto Tenerife with a strong online presence, allowing them to efficiently manage orders and reach a wider audience. Customers can now easily browse the menu and place orders for delivery, significantly improving the restaurant’s service accessibility.
